Hi, I'm a fan of the KH Series and I figured I'd clue you in on what the hooplah is all about.

Starting from the first game, its about three main characters - Sora, Riku, and Kairi - who dream of nothing more than to float away from their little island and explore other worlds besides their own. They get their wish as darkness starts to envelop the island and they get thrown through the universe to other worlds. Sora takes the lead as protagonist trying to get his friends back, while traveling from world to world with King Mickey's guard and sorcerer Goofy and Donald. The main archetypal struggle in the series is light vs. darkness. Is darkness the eternal beginning, because light always produces shade? There must be a balance of the fores, so why do we fear the dark?

There's a long story that links all the games together and I won't go into that now if you don't want me to. The worlds Sora visits are the worlds of various Disney characters and movies. You go to Wonderland, the Olympus Coliseum, the Underworld, Tarzan's Jungle, Neverland, a world for Pirates of the Caribbean, and many more. You meet the character's from each world and usually have to solve a crisis brought about by a hybrid between the Disney stories antagonist and the enemies of the game: the heartless.

Other characters in the game are taken from the Final Fantasy series and they can be found and interacted with in various parts as well. These characters include Squall Leonhart, Cloud, Sephiroth, Wakka, Tidus, and others.

The series weaves a really interesting tale and I find it very easy to become immersed with all of it. There are a lot of games in the series and the plot is confusing at times, but up through the most recent game "Dream Drop Distance" most things have been explained. If you want any more explanation or have any questions about it, please feel free to drop me a line.
Have a great day!

I cannot see a cool way to make the light into the shape of key, but having the ability 'the force' would be cool.

I'd love to take on Emperor Palpatine with a Keyblade. Even though Lightsabers are cool, I'd might take a Keyblade over a Lightsaber. Why?

A: It helps a LOT to be born a jedi to start with

B: A lightsaber can be particularly dangerous to its user if you aren't careful

C: Unless I'm mistaken all it takes to be a Keyblade Wielder is touching a key or being chosen by one in the first place.

D: Being a Keyblade wielder comes with magic attached to it as opposed to having to born a Jedi to properly use the Force.

That's all just me, though.

No thanks, I'll stick to classic Disney if you don't mind.

I died a little when I heard Disney got Star Wars. And this; would be just another reason to not like KH.

-Tears for the SW universe.-
