I'm in a basic college level American History course that pretty much just reiterates what you learned in High School, and there's this tall black girl that wears these gigantic wooden slabs as earrings, dies her locks orange, and who says in response to each of the professor's queries, "I'm confused." Those are the most common words that come out of her mouth, and she has got to be one of the dumbest adults I've ever met. Today, the prof was talking about the Articles of Confederation and how the current American government emerged from this, and she piped up once again with "I'm confused." He had to explain the difference between the Senate and the House of Representatives three times over, and she still didn't get it, but just dismissed him with "uh-huh, OK."
As class was ending, a few of us found ourselves gathered around the teacher's desk, and I picked her out of the crowd and asked, "How long have you lived in this country?"
She moved her head backwards, as the question was too bizarre for her to believe, put on a sycophantic smile and responded, "All my life," and then it dawned on me: she didn't understand why I was asking the question, she was so stupid and has been around so many stupid or conciliatory people that she found it inconceivable for her nationality to be questioned when, after two decades, she was utterly ignorant of even the basic knowledge of what defines her nation.
******* dumb bitches.
