I'm asexual. That doesn't mean we don't seek romantic relationships, it just means we don't want sex. Even at that, I understand how important sex is to some people. If I ever was in a relationship, I would oblige them. It's just as if you don't like horseradish. If once a week, you're wife wants horseradish, just eat a bit to make her satisfied. Yeah. Horseradish. Sex. Asexuals.

My football coach hates public display of affections so much that at his wedding him and his wife just high-five'd and walked out.

If you know that you'll never get married, find someone you enjoy spending time with and could stand sharing a house with. Legally marry them with a prenup. Now you have tax breaks like any married couple without the fighting or having to worry about dating or sex with other people being an issue.

They can kiss, cuddle, hug or something else. They just don't feel any sexual attraction.

How would you distinguish between a person (of either gender) who is asexual and someone who just has a low libido? (Assuming they never had sex)

An asexual person does not mean they will not have a relationship or any romance at all. Asexual means that they do not need sex, depend on sex, or have a romantic relationship the most important thing in their life. An asexual person can have a relationship, but it is the most pure kind based solely off of their personality. Source is my asexual friend.

Well OP, Theoretcially they would just keep cloning themselves if they are truely asexual. Other wise adopt? I think that if they are getting married they have come to terms with the whole thing?
