actually, you can get cheap pcs, they won't be able to emulate xbox or playstation, but you'll be able to play games.
even if you buy a pc that can and indeed spend more money on it than on an xb or ps, you'll still have cheaper games than xb or ps and you'll be able to use controllers just as you would on the consoles..

consoles are only cheaper if you only want one and want them for a few select games.
(or want to buy as soon as they release)

you missed the whole point of his post. He clearly said, PC's THAT ARE BETTER THAN ALL OF THE ABOVE ARE USUALLY MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE. You basically tried to prove him wrong by agreeing with him.

I think you're missing that he's agreeing with you. So why are you trying to prove him wrong?

1. he was not completely correct, i was trying to complete his statements
2. he did it in a very rude manner
3. it's a stupid post that has been discussed many times before in the comments if he had paid attention

how was he wrong? He said that if you want a PC that is better for gaming than a console, they tend to be very expensive. He's right. He said that consoles are better for gaming. He's right. He said that consoles and console games drive the industry. He's right.

anon however was VERY wrong.
though the pcs that are better are more expensive, they're cheaper than buying ps+xbox
you can play the games equally well using controllers or even better because you're not limited to the supplier's hardware.

and, imho, nothing beats a mouse for aim.
i'd challenge anyone to beat me on pc vs console on a shooter.

and when the games are released for pc, they're usually about 20€ less on pc than on console, which makes pc still the better choice for hardcore gamers.
