my tip for you? Don't try to belong somewhere.
some of my friends said i should give lol a try and i liked it so i play that every now and then. dr who: couldnt be bothered. ponies: were supposedly awesome so i tried it and i kinda liked it but not enough to watch it all.
what im trying to say is try things out to see what you like but not because you want to be in certain group of people. and maybe you like it to edit your gameplay and make commentaries on youtube so try that out.
as for things you might want to give a try you should try some of these which i really enjoy(ed)
- MTA (its multiplayer san andreas with mod and i highly recommend the servers "SEAS RP and MX destruction derby)
- Minecraft
- Anime
- Mirai nikki
- Clannad
- Death note
- Bokusatsu tenshi dokuro-chan
- try lots of different music genres, go to their concerts and party to meet new people (as a beta this can be difficult and i had a hard time with this as well for quite a while but all it takes is willpower)

Aw dude its ok if you don't know EVERYTHING. Not everyone does and those who do are often really obsessive or just really really really like whatever it is they're into. I know people who claim they love adventure time but haven't even seen all the episodes or even remember each character's name, but just because you don't know everything shouldn't mean that you have to keep yourself from enjoying something yourself. Or play minecraft. I like minecraft

Every episode of Doctor Who aside from the newest season and the old series IS available on Netflix
