I Feel Like Shit For Liking DBZ

Everywhere I go DBZ is bashed, hated, and criticized for being nothing more than a pile of shit. DBZ is my all-time favorite series, and I know this is going to sound sad, but I can't stand the hate it gets. Things like Pokemon and My Little Pony have these big followings, and yet DBZ is just known by most people to be "that show where nothing ever happens". It makes me feel like I shouldn't even like DBZ, and should just give all of my stuff pertaining to it away. I can't even enjoy watching it anymore without constantly thinking about how hated it is by so many people. I don't know how to get over this, and I've already gone to the advice board. Help?

It's easy. FUCK EVERYONE THEIR OPINIONS. Whatever man, DBZ is a great show and personally I think the KAI in which they let more shit happen per episode less epic. I kind of liked the buildups, even though it was sometimes a bit slow. It made it more epic in my eyes and it really gave you time to take in all the details and emotions of the characters.



Anyway, like I said; Just form your own damn opinion. Who gives a flying fuck about what other people think? How hard is it to say "I'm cool with your opinion but personally I really like DBZ". You don't even have to argue over that shit. Just let shit be.

I've never heard anyone hate it, but let's be honest: It is a pretty boring show. It ran for quite a few years, and yet the whole plot could be summed up in, what, a few pages of text? I mean, they devoted like five episodes to a fight with Frieza (or whatever his name is). Five. Goddamned. Episodes. And that was just for the fight. That's not counting all the other shows building up to the fight.

But still, I used to watch it a lot when I was younger. I don't hate it now, I just don't have time for it. I've seen a lot of people say they didn't like it, but I've never seen someone openly hate it. Most people are indifferent to it.

So... if something you like is disliked by some you automatically dislike it too?
...What the hell man. I like DBZ, I like DBGT, hell I even like Naruto (except for fillers). So what?
And... I do not like Pokemon (being fairly honest, I enjoyed Digimon a hell of a lot more than Pokemon).
If you like it, then it really shouldn't matter. And I don't think people can hate a TV series, mainly because it it only a TV series (I don't read manga very often).
Honestly, I don't think you need to hear/read all this crap, I think you know this already. Man the fuck up.
