A very destructive voice indeed
My friends, my brothers, my sisters, my fellow pessimists, sadists, comrades, and whomever reading this...I have come to a realization. Nothing new, for I believe many have already thought this same thought. My realization was that the word of the "mouth" is a very destructive force. Many "facts" and common truths that the majority believe are very wrong. Water is actually blue ( a very faint hint)! Humpty-Dumpty was actually a cannon! The universe is actually the color beige! Gandhi was actually a very cruel man to many races( he really disliked south africans)! Now I am certain that some of you knew these things, and for that I am proud of you. But I do not doubt for a second that some of these facts that dispel other facts...are wrong too! The word of "mouth" is been one of humans strongest tools, but at the same time..a deadly weakness. As time goes on, it has become increasingly hard to create one of these silly "facts", but even harder to destroy an old one. Just today I saw three fact posts, and in each one of these post's comment section......there were people disproving these facts! And yet, while one comment disproved a fact three sprouted stating that fact was cool, or the fact creeped them out.....even the truth was right in front of their faces! If only they bothered to look! And I have no doubt that some the unaware commenters told their friends and family spreading the false information further! Why just a week ago, I told a story to my friends. It was about how I was playing football ( a sport I don't play, meaning this story was a lie off the bat), and had made an amazing catch. As that day continued I silently witness my story changing, with each telling. By the end of the day, my story was completely different! the story now went like this: Some boy (my name was lost in the retelling) caught a frisbee while doing 3 flips in the middle of the street and almost got ran over 5 times! Now isn't that odd? I can only assume that the story got grander and grander each time it was told. When I tried to tell some fellow classmates the truth, they told me off and said that I didn't know what I was talking about. How very wrong they were! Now, you are probably saying: "OP, you bumbling faggot...just go shove a cock in your mouth and shut up!" I will I will, later, do not fret. What i'm trying to say is....don't trust everything you hear. Don't turn into an annoying skeptic either. Just remember to research it.
