Why it pays to have manners
Uploaded by: thatmetalguy Earlier today around 4PM I went to Starbucks before doing a little job hunting. As i approached the door, a lady came and as I do quite often, I held the door open for her. She thanked me and as we went inside she told me I could go in front of her at the register. That's not the good part but still a nice gesture. I hand the cashier my Starbucks card and order a Double Chocolatey Chip Frappachino because that's the drink of the gods. Anyways, my card was missing $2.83 so i tell the cashier to hold on and let me get change out of my car. After i get my change and start to hand it to the cashier, she told me that the lady behind me had already paid for my drink. There are many reasons to dislike humanity as a whole, but if we can all learn to lend just a small gesture of kindness like this every now and then maybe it'll catch on even more.
