I never said I was, I specifically stated I watched the seasons with Tennant. i never watched Dr.Who before that. I watched one episode and Tennant drew me in, then the new guy lost me just as fast. I'm sure it's a good show deserving of long term fans, but he made sure I wouldn't be one of them.

Well you should try to watch the season before Tennant.

but they are all the doctor....to be honest I thought they over-sexualized David.....but he was still good

I know they are all 'the doctor" but something about the new guy just completly ruins it for me. I am sure for long time fans of the show it is just another version of the doctor, but I went from tennant who was perfectly wonky to the new guy and he just lost me.

Perhaps all you need is a new perspective. The way I look at the 11th Doctor is that he is extra silly is he is like a drunk overcompensating; in brief flashes we see the rage hidden just hidden underneath and how it is tearing him apart despite how he tries. He just cut ties to all of his friends from his previous life on top of having to destroy his race a second time.

You need to get used to him. He's a tad bumpy at first but he's pure hilarious later on

But I have watched all of this series, and some of the original series.
Matt Smith is the worst.
Tennant was zany and goofy but at the same time he was also silly and intelligent.
It feels as if they decided that Smith should just be eccentric "I have a bowtie, bowties are cool" "I have a fez, fezzes are cool" etc.
I will admit, i haven't watched all of the Matt Smith episodes, but it in the scenes I have seen where he gets serious, Tennant pulls it off better.

An opinion cannot be wrong as long as it can be supported.
So may made a slight error.
I have seen almost every episode, in comparison to the entire series, I have seen almost all of it, but there are still several episodes I have yet to see of Smith.

Smith takes some time to grow on you, but once he does you'll love his way of playing the Doctor.

Also, Rory is freakin' awesome.

I find the story that he does very entertaining, but I think that there were probably better options for the doctor, it just seems that Matt Smith looks to young to be the ancient =, war-torn character that the Doctor is supposed to be.

I can see what you mean. It took me an entire season before I liked Smith. He grows on you after a while, but God does it take forever.

If you watch the recent Christmas special, he's almost like Eccleston was in the first episode.

Eccleston is my second favorite Doctor, I thought he was awesome.

It happens more than once. Season 1, episode 9 and 10, "the empty child" and "the doctor dances". Go watch those.
