i used to work at jimmy johns. and one thing we had to do i greet people when they walk in like hey and hello and shit. but with like..really happy so one day i wasn't thinking and some guy walks in and i say hey welcome to jimmy johns how may i jimmy your john. the man didn't take it that well and complained. and i was fired.

This is a common misconception. You see, when he said "What's crackin' my nigga?" you should have responded with "What's niggin' my cracker?" As you can plainly see, the cracker drops the -er and takes on the -in' to form the verb. Your failure lies in that you kept the -er while still trying to make it a verb. Some people take such common translation errors very seriously.
