You want to do what, where???

I use to work in an ISP call center 5 days a week 9-5pm, and we would get the stupidest people calling in for the stupidest things. It was getting to the point to where you thought you were working in a mental asylum and had to take every patients call. That's not the point, the point is: Here is one of my stories from that hell hole of a "career", hope you enjoy.....

>Lady calls in pissed as shit
>She has already cussed out two lower level techs
>Great..... How may I help yo........
>"SHUT YOUR LYING FUCKING MOUTH WHEN I'M SPEAKING!"
>dafaq?
>"Mam if you continue to use that language I will have to disconnect this call"
>She's silent, just about to disconnect the phone when she says....
>"I'm sorry sir I've just had a very stressful day, I'm having a problem with my cable service, can you help me?"
>I answer back, "That's ok we all have those days, what's the issue you're having there?"
>Another longggg pause..... "Well me and my husband are on vacation in spain and we brought our cable box out here and it is not working"
>There is no way you are that stupid....
>"Mam did you say you brought your cable box to spain??"
>"I'VE TOLD ALL THREE OF YOU IDIOTS THAT AND NO ONE WANTS TO LISTEN TO ME APPARENTLY!"
>Put the phone on mute while I laugh my ass off at this
>"Mam our network only spans Louisiana, we do not have any network ties outside of Louisiana, not to mention out of the country"
"SO YOU'RE FUCKING TELLING ME THAT I'M PAYING FOR A SERVICE THAT I'M NOT EVEN GETTING??"
>oh you're a special kind of stupid..... "No mam, you're paying for video service at your home in Louisiana, we do not advertise anything in your package to work out of state/country."
>THIS IS JUST RIDICULOUS, I'M GOING TO REPORT YOU TO THE BBB AND HAVE YOU FIRED FOR THIS. WHAT IS YOUR MANAGERS NAME??? I WANT HIS NAME AND NUMBER!!"
>cry me a fucking river, "Mam I am the department supervisor and you will stop using profanity on this line otherwise I will have to blacklist your number in our call center. Now we do not offer any service outside of Louisiana and there is nothing we can credit you for since you took it upon yourself to take the cable box to spain."
>I hear the phone being put down and her screaming in the background
>husband answers the phone
>oh boy round two
>as calm as possible, husband says, "I apologize for her. If I wasn't married to her I'd leave her here in Spain"

One of the best calls I have ever taken....
