You can choose to read this, you can choose to skip it, or you can choose to thumb me down and flame me, but whatever the case I feel like this needs to be said. I have never had a problem with jokes about bad **** that's happened, in fact I normally find them hilarious, but on the case of Amanda Todd I do find myself having a problem. Although she was a stupid, selfish, whorish **** I still can't help but feel bad for her. It's probably because I lost two close friends to suicide, but still. She may have brought a lot of this upon herself, in fact she did, but she was also harassed to no end by some really cruel people. I have been through a lot in life, a WHOLE lot. Depression, alcoholic parents, abuse, suicidal thoughts and more but I managed to rise above it. This girl made some horrible choices, but she really got unlucky that the guy she flashed was a horrible person as well. I'm sure very few of you can say you haven't tried to get a girl to flash you on omegle/chatroulette/etc. and some of you can say that you have succeeded in getting a girl to flash you. She was just one of those girls, but the guy that got her to do it was a sick person that pursued her even when she did everything to try and escape it. She probably would have made it through if it didn't haunt her for 4 years. Yeah, she was a typical slutty American teen that ****** some dude with a boyfriend and showed her tits on the internet, but that doesn't take away from the fact that she was treated way worse than she deserved. Suicide is never the answer and I will always consider it the cowards way out, but this girl tried to get past it for 4 years and everyone else did everything they could to make sure that didn't happen.
Once again, I think this girl was a very stupid attention whorish girl that is the epitome of what is wrong with today's youth, but that being said she didn't deserve to be harassed to the point that she was. No one deserves that. The guy who spearheaded this is just as much at fault as she is. I'll accept the red thumbs because I feel this needs to be said. I'm not defending her choices, in fact I'm denouncing them as much as I can, but I'm also saying she's not the only one to be mad at.
