As I stumbled up the stairs rather worse for wear through drink, I kicked off my shoes and pulled down my pants as quietly as possible so as not to disturb the wife. I reached the top step and collapsed letting out a long wet fart...I stifled my giggles as best I could, but it was clear that she heard me because she immediately stood up, rang the bell and got off the bus...wasn't even our stop!
