Atheist vs Religion

I see Atheists are fighting and killing each other again, over who doesn't belive in any God the most. Oh... No... that never happends.

Atheist 1-0 Religion

1. Atheists like Mao Zedong, Joseph Stalin, People in Revolutionary France, Pol Pot, etc etc killed religious people for having a religion.
2. There are no true wars over religion, they just use the guise of religion as a uniting force in order to grab land, resources, etc.

Inb4 red thumbs and butthurt, I'm just tired of these famous, self righteous atheists oversimplifying religion. That would be like me saying:

"Hurr well evolution is just a theory that says dirt turned into cells then that turned into a plant that turned into fish that turned into amphibians that turned into mammals. If that were true, why are there still animals"
