No way out
Fredric Michaels, the self made multi millionaire has been sailing back and forth along a three hour both ways rout to his own private fifty five square mile island for about five years. He sails there almost every weekend and sometimes stays well in to the week so when he disappears for three days no one not even his wife thinks much of it.
One particularly gray day on the Pacific Ocean Fred Michaels is out sailing his boat and a severe storm
rolls up behind him, not thinking much of it he continues to the island he has visited so many times
before, but Today will be a day like no other. Today Fredric Michaels will not be going home to his nice
warm bed, instead he will be trapped 20 meters underground. With the storm worsening behind him he
radios in saying he may not be home tonight and not to worry.
But that is one mistake that may cost him his life. Suddenly his sail is struck with a massive bolt of
lightning rendering it and the radio completely useless. Thankfully he had a backup inboard engine
which he used to get him to the island, the cave and to what he thought was safety, but shortly after
entering the cave there was a loud crash and everything went black. That’s when he knew that he was
trapped. Using an oil lamp that he left in there in case the generator failed He discovered a wall of rocks that would
start to crumble as soon as he tried to move one stone.
Now there is a little history between Fred and this cave. You see he has been coming to this little island for years now and he had been working on a little project. A tunnel to the other side of the small mountain but still had over five hundred meters to go.
he was trapped. No lights except for a small lighter, an oil lamp and one tool, a pickaxe.
he had no other choice but to try and dig sideways through the mountain At the spot that is only
ten meters thick but there is one problem….. where is it?
