nexting
| |
One of the things that separates Humans from FunnyJunkers is our ability to judge and predict if a post is OC, however, almost all FunnyJunkers just look and stare into the immediate future. This is called nexting, where a post is ignored and skipped. A simple example of nexting is occurring now, where im pressing >NEXT
jk, this is actually a pretty cool post

Read it, didn't get it, looked at comments, reread, realized last word was "avocado" and not "be."
You win this time OP.

I thought it was going to say advocate.
I don't even know what advocate means.

I hit avacado and my nose started to bleed like I'd seen turned japanese and walked in on a nude woman.

I must be brain damaged to have read that right the first time.
I read avocado as provide... o-o then I looked back and it.
This is not 100%. Many animals can predict what will happen if they do certain things as long as they have done it before. An example would be a dog performing a handshake or similar "trick" for a treat. What humans do that is different is they can combine predictions. i.e. if it was a human being asked to do something for reward they may initially think "i've done this before, i'll get my rewarded for doing it" but can also doubt it if the person asking has exhibited contradictory behaviour.
