Personally I think the series could benefit from a level designer.

Fill the grid with obstacles and enemies... set the spawn and capture points
Then let loose your troops from a save file...

It's a pretty epic series.

i want one kinda like mount and blade
you make your charecter and there backstory, how they grew up, what kindom they belong to, race, all that stuff, and basiclly be what you want
you want to become an evil warlord and slay the heros that come to slay you? go right the fuck ahead,
want to start as a prince and overthrow your father? go ahead
maybe have some major items/artifacts/creatures you could find which may turn on you by releasing some ancient evil to kill you or may summon an ancient knight to join you , though there should be something to tempt you to be evil , like somthing gain you power at the cost of innocent lives
also one thing: generic troops, every casualty should not have a major impact on the story, why are all these major battles fought solely by important figures? why are they not leading the normal men into battle?
