NolanNasty (08/20/2012) [-] Gave up? There was a greatwar, where the empire almost fell. The Imperial city was taken. When the emperor retook the city the people of the empire was hungering for peace and so the empror accepted the white gold concordat. They dind't just give up. They fought for years and in the end chose peace. It is true that if they had continued the war they would have won in the end as hammerfell managed to push the Thalmor out.

widerbubbles (08/20/2012) [-] oh i guess that i missed that part. when i was playing the stormcloaks that is what i took from it, that the thalmor walked in the empire just gave up. if you play for the empire is it just the same quests as the stormcloaks but for the other side?

NolanNasty (08/21/2012) [-] The quests are pretty much the same, take over forts ect, but you find a book about this in the honningbrew meadery (?) think thats what it is called... the one outside whiterun.
