I'm confused

So, I have noticed a lot of people on here complaining about all these reposts making it to the front page.

but I have also noticed that a lot of people making good OC getting down thumbed or downright ignored.

So my question is, why are we complaining about these reposts making it to the front page when we totally ignore OC whenever its there?

Are we all seriously that retarded?
