So I was reading one of those *************** posts when I had a ******* awesome realization.
So you know how light has a speed?
Well that means that whatever is happening now on Earth, won't reach the far end of the universe for X amount of years.
What this means is that at the edge of the Universe, the light that has arrived from Earth is X amount of years.
What this means is that in the future, if (when) faster-than-light travel or teleportation is possible, one will be able to go so far out into space, that they will be able to catch up to today's light.
That's right, TODAY's light. As in whatever you're doing right NOW. As in whatever you did yesterday.
A.K.A. Stop masturbating! They can see you!
You wouldn't want your great great grandchildren watching you doing stupid **** now would you?
Jk, but what this really means is that we'll be able to see the Earth's history, from the very beginning. Theoretically.
We'll know what dinosaurs looked like, how evolution progressed, if Jesus existed, who killed JFK, how the **** they built the pyramids, and countless other mysteries and curiosities.
But will they be able to see why kids love the taste of Cinnamon Toast Crunch?
