whatever dude. being gay is not natural.

Homosexuality happens in nature very often, you'd find that there are a huge amount of homo/bi-sexual animals, and before you use the "it's not natural" argument, use that tiny shriveled up clump of what used to be neurons, look around you, we live in an un-natural world, you are typing on a ******* computer for crying outloud, if something that happens in nature and has for millions of years, something that predates all religions, especially the Semetic ones is un-natural, however all the objects you use in day to day life is un-natural, then look at your logic, and if you still can't see any flaws in your argument, then maybe it's not that your an intolerant douche who only spreads the flames of hate, it's most likely you were dropped on your head as a baby, so on the bright side, at least it's not your fault that you're a pathetic waste of cells, it's that careless adult who gave you your first concussion

But no, on a serious note, completely agree OP.
Also the not-natural argument is a complete fail.

I'm christian, but I totally hate the ********** l hear about ... Christians rageing and demonstrating for silly things like homosexuality ..... First thing first ... We should love everyone just as God loves them. Second, God hates the SIN, not the SINNER. Third ... In God's kingdom, all sins WILL be forgiven man (if they actually want that forgivness).

So l just don't understand all this rage l hear about (rage FROM christians ... l'm actually more on the atheists' side in most cases, just that l have my God to back me up)

The response to not natual is good, but in the wrong place.

Your response to "Why can't gays turn normal" makes no sense.

Also, placing people into categories is okay if there are a sufficient amount of people who fit a category (for example, I don't think many would disagree with the statement that goths wear black). The fact that the person wants to put them in the 'hating jesus' category is just flat out wrong. Need to change your refute there a bit.
User avatar #7 to #4 - xiik (05/12/2012) [-]
He is saying that people say gay folk should turn "normal".
Those people imply that being gay is abnormal.

Those same people who want gay people to be normal would be the ones pointing out abnormalities in people Ie homosexuals trough their school years, and thus putting them through hell for being who they are.
User avatar #10 to #7 - darklucius (05/12/2012) [-]
I know that. But his response is something about how gays get picked on in highschool, which is totally unrelated to the "gay people should turn normal" ******** .
User avatar #12 to #10 - xiik (05/12/2012) [-]
No his point is that when people say gays should turn normal thats already a form of bullying that is present when they go through highscool.

Imagine if you had, say, a walking disability. and everyone kept on picking on you and telling to to turn normal. Thats what hes trying to say
User avatar #13 to #12 - darklucius (05/12/2012) [-]
So if I say that people in wheelchairs should just learn to walk again, an apporopriate response is to say that people in wheelchairs get picked on in highschool? That makes no goddamned sense.

People who hate gays are ******* assholes, but coming up with ******** responses to their ******** arguments is stupid. Fighting fire with fire is one thing, but fighting ******** with ******** is just retarded.
User avatar #14 to #13 - xiik (05/12/2012) [-]
Yes correct.
People who have mindsets such as "You're in a wheelchair, why don't you learn to walk" would be the ones who were the bullies. Or at least a high percent of those people.
User avatar #8 to #4 - xiik (05/12/2012) [-]
Also, no one would disagree with the statement that goths wear black.
Because wearing black is pretty much a prerequisite for being a goth, since its a style.

But being a fat, obnoxious, gun loving redneck is not a prerequisite for being American, even though there are lots of fat obnoxious gun loving redneck Americans.
That was OP's point. You need to know the people.

User avatar #11 to #8 - darklucius (05/12/2012) [-]
My point was that placing people into categories is okay as long as you are placing them in the right categories. His response said it's never okay to place people in categories, which simply isn't true.
