I saw it. I thought it was good. I went in knowing the movie wasn't going to be all about the crash itself, so I wasn't disappointed in terms of story. I wasn't disappointed at all actually, for the most part. The only part I was disappointed at was:

SPOILERS FOR ANYONE READING THAT HASN'T SEEN THE MOVIE

The ending. I really wanted him to stay sober. I should've expected that he wasn't, but by this point I was happy with the way his life was turning around. After that, I liked the whole trial thing. I was glad he gave himself up.

See, the ending is what spoiled it for me. T kinf rendered the entire film pointless.He may aswell have just woken up from a dream.

I wasn't a big fan of the "re-telling it from jail" thing, but it could've been worse. I don't think the film deserves all the hype it's getting, but I think Denzel Washington was really good in it.

Oh yeah the acting was excellent from pretty much the whole cast, it was just a bit dull.

Also, "T kinf"? I typed the ending, how did it come out like that?

I'm not sure, but I understood what you meant after you mentioned how it was like waking up from a dream.

Overall, the film is solid, but I think it could've been better.

It just seemed really dull to me. Everybody I saw it with liked it except for me. I wasn't expecting "NONSTOP ACTION EVERY TEN MINUTES!" but I was hoping for a little more than "Now he's gonna go here and get depressed, then he's gonna do some more drugs. Now he's gonna talk to this guy and then drink a whole bunch of alcohol." The acting is great and the shots look good though.
