I read the first two volumes of season 8 of both Buffy and Angel, but I havn't had a chance to buy any more.

Eh, you're right, the fun of anticipation does even out having to watch ads.
I watched "Awake" week to week (for the short time it was on) and the anticipation was probably the best part :)

Do you have a favorite episode? I'd probably go with "Hush" or "The Body"

oh my. it has been a while. i really liked the early episodes season 1 and 2, and then the series started being less done after episode 3 of buffy.....
probably the hyena episode? if i had to pick one

Season 1 was mediocre, season 2 was good, season 3 was good, season 4 was bad, season 5 was good. season 6 was pretty good, and season 7 was mediocre imo.

Wait, did you watch past season 2?

buffy a couple of times. the plot just got silly and more high drama and less vampire hunty past season 3. started focusing morew on fucking monsters than slaying. i still liked it to the end though.

i thought season 1 was really campy and low budget, but i still liked it.

have you seen the movie?

Yeah, I saw it on TV about 2 years before I started watching the show.
Not the best, but I've seen worse.
