If there is any team that has been making great moves this off season, it has to go to the Royals, they have picked up Ervin Santanna, Wade Davis, and James Shields. This has to be one of the greatest jobs I have seen this organization do in a while. All for some minor leaguers. I know I sound typical when I say this, but watch out for these Royals.
Idk, I like both ends of that deal between the Royals and Rays. Both got what they needed (KC- Pitching, TB - Offense and shedding payroll), I feel like KC gave up a bit too much for Shields and Davis. Keep in mind Tampa BREEDS good pitching, but I definitely won't count out the Royals, they have good young talent in Hosmer, Moustakas, Salvador Perez, and a veteran presence in Butler, and look out for Lorenzo Cain.
I think our position players are nothing but good, I feel if we get consisten pitchers (like the ones above) then the Royals are a threat. The offenses doesn't have to be consistent because it is hard for batting to be consistent, while pitching is the easiest. The Royals have offense that can show up and explode it's just the consisten pitching.
