Baseball... I think is the best sport out there. I was born in Drogheda, Ireland and my father was an American and he brought he up on baseball even living in Ireland until I was ten. I was so excited to see my first baseball game two weeks after we moved to America. I have always been a baseball fan and never will change. How about you?
My favorite sport is Hockey, but I love baseball as well. I love how the hockey season starts as the baseball season is ending, even though there may not be a hockey season this year.
My favorite baseball team is the Brewers......
My favorite baseball team is the Brewers......
They're doing fine, they still have enough time to make the wild card. Will they repeat a world series? Prolly' not, but we can only hope. Our bullpen is the same as it was last year during this time... Lets hope in a month it will be smoking.
This time last year, the move we made was already paying off. The left side of the pen was dominant and Dotel knew what was up. Now, well at least Mujica has been a nice surprise in the 7th inning but the lefties have been awful. But it should improve once Garcia returns and Kelly or Lynn are moved to the 'pen with Browning or Rosenthal being sent to Memphis. I'll miss Lynn or Kelly being in the rotation though.
Garcia seems to be a head case. He can't pitch if anything goes wrong at all. If a maid places a mint a mm to left of where he wanted it at his hotel, he'll likely give up 6+ runs. I hope Kelly doesn't get traded. Lohse and Westbrook should both be done after this year, or at least Westbrook. So these are my projected rotations/bullpens for next year:
Rotation A:
Waino, Carp, Lohse, Lynn, Garcia
Bullpen A:
Motte (Closer), Boggs (8th inning man), Mujica (7th inning man), Rosenthal (long reliever), Kelly (long reliever), Zep (lefty specialist), McClellan (a righty who pitches to a lot of lefties)
Rotation B:
Waino, Carp, Lynn, Kelly, Garcia
Bullpen B:
Motte, Boggs, Mujica, Rosenthal, Salas, Zep, McClellan
Rotation A:
Waino, Carp, Lohse, Lynn, Garcia
