For what reason do you want the cam? Consider the worth of each of them. How long have you had the cat? Could you live with giving him/her away? Is the camera actually worth it? BTW this is social.

It's socializing. And I've had the cat for a couple months, the Camera is okay.

Just consider what you want more. If you can't decide, flip a coin. Usually you will hope for one outcome. If that's the case, leave the coin and go with what you were hoping for. If it's not, then go with the coin. Also, if you give the cat to a friend, you can still go visit them and see your cat. I get that it's socializing, but you called this the advice board.
