Another rant guys. The term "nerd" has become more and more misused now a days. If you call yourself a nerd, you are not a nerd. Labeling yourself, in general, proves you are not that and shows you only wish to become that only because you see others do it and you think it is cool. Lil Wayne is a prime example of this. That cancerous excuse for an entertainer sags his pants, puts on odd outfits, and you know what happens? The herds of teenagers who listen to him crowd around him like sheep and copy his every move. Stereotyping is one thing I cannot stand. When I see someone getting called a nerd because they fit the description, it really irritates me. But those same people who label other kids, turn around and wear those stupid ass 3d glasses and call themselves nerds. I know I am jumping around on this topic, but this subject angers me so much that I am just typing whatever is coming to my mind. This generation in general is becoming such a bad role model for the upcoming, that I really don't know how I would explain it to my kids. We are the most spoiled, selfish, bratty pieces of shit I have ever seen. The cause? Media. Media, peer pressure and terrible parenting. They watch shows such as jersey shore, MTV, they hang out with other little shit kids and do drugs, then come home to an empty house because the dad is at a hotel and the mom is working late. OPEN YOUR EYES PEOPLE. It is not too late, but it would be very soon in the future!

The pic is me and my friends. We share the same opinions and you couldn't label us into one group even if you tried...

People create labels because they think either it's cool or it's easier to distinguish who a person is without knowing them. I'm not saying it's a good thing. To be honest I hate when people try to label me. Saying I'm a hipster or a nerd. But really, they don't even know what those labels means. No matter what people will still do it.

Explain. please tell me how in any way they could look like this. Once again, another piece of shit labeling people without even knowing them. Thank you for confirming my hypothesis.

It's a built in natural instinct, and it's there for a good reason. Quit complaining.

That is not a natural instinct, just because you say that doesn't make it true. People can go their entire life without doing that, and I am sure they would be just fine. You may call it complaining, but i call it pointing out the flaws.

No. In the wild, if an animal sees something big or brightly coloured, or if something makes a loud noise, it's natural instinct is to stay away from it, as it usually means it can be dangerous. If it didn't stick to it's natural instinct every time it would be killed off. It's called natural selection and it's what's got us where we are today. Like I said before, judging a book by it's cover is built in, as it's the surest way to survive.
