if you dont mind the security and can manage the flood of task bars, you are right, its a good functioning browser. No need to hate on little Dora the internet explorer, but for some reason (like consoles) people get caught up in all the nice bonus features offered by google chrome or firefox and usually throw spite at anyone who uses another product.

IEFW you download chrome

It has nothing to do with how good it is, there is a crack in the security that people could use to gain access to your computer.

This source is just the first one I came across, it's in a lot of news articles just google it

Doubt.jpg

My IE opens instantly and I have to wait forever for chrome/firefox to open, hell, my chrome doesn't even work half the time.

Since it's gonna be questioned, I have a gaming PC and when I say forever I mean like 4 seconds

Same with me, actually. Chrome outright didn't work on my computer at all until I massively worked with its optional settings. Took a bit over an hour to get it to do anything. Firefox works alright, but it feels clunky to me. I know it is highly customizable and I am still using default Firefox, so maybe with a bit of tweaking I would be able to get it how I like it. At the moment though, IE just plain works.

It's all a ploy. Internet Explorer doesn't store all our information and give it to the government, unlike all those other browsers. When the government heard about this, they couldn't stand not being able to track everyone that uses it, and they couldn't convince microsoft to let them snoop around people's data, so they did the next best thing. They're trying to convince us IE is bad so that we can use those browsers that give the government our information.

It's all a government conspiracy funded by the illuminerty which was carried out by the NAACP. And who do you think thought up this devious plot? The Jews.

This is legit though. Homeland Security is highly advising people to not use IE for awhile because there is a huge safety flaw right now. Just switch for awhile for your own safety

Good day, James.

lifehacker.com/5976082/browser-speed-tests-chrome-24-firefox-18-internet-explorer-10-and-opera-1212
You can look up many other sources that will tell you that the speed difference between IE and Chrome & FireFox is minor, and a lot of them even say it's one of the speedier browsers.

A browser being worse is purely subjective, and in this case is usually baseless, as people who don't use IE won't really know anything about it, will they? I would like to read any sources you might have on the security issues IE has, and why free anti-virus programs, which everyone should have anyway, aren't able to effectively counter them.

Yeah, I'm mostly basing my experiences of a slower IE off of older versions of it. I haven't used it since May of 2011. Which they've released what, 9, 10, and 11 since then? I don't even know what version they're up to. I'll relinquish that it's not any slower than its competitors.

As for security issues, *laughs* well: www.cnet.com/news/new-zero-day-vulnerability-identified-in-all-versions-of-ie/
