It would still be proportionally too large. Mini-me is 1/8th Dr. Evil. Canada's pop. is more like 1/10th USA

It's about how Canada and the US are basically the same country (minus Quebec) but Canada is smaller. Congratulations, the joke is no longer funny now that it has been explained.

Its about the US and Canada, in every war post War of 1812 Canada has backed the US, in Vietnam Canadians willingly enlisted in our armed forces to fight alongside us.

Basically Canada has a tiny army compared to us (who doesn't though?), but they still have our backs in every fight.

Hence; a bald white dude and his midget friend standing tall in jail.

Kinda hard to have as much of a big army when we've got only a tenth of the US population

Actually Canada is marginally bigger than the USA...unless this representing something a little more abstract and I'm missing it, in which case carry on.

Funny how the only time the US and Canada (or British North America back then) were in war as enemies, the US got manhandled. Sure, you guys would destroy us today, but I wonder if that's because Canada doesn't spend close to $700 billion on their military.

Canada doesn't have $700 billion dollars to spend, period, and if they did, there would be no possible way for them to raise an army big enough to even spend that much on.

By Canadians, you mean the British Royal Navy and Native American allies? Please brush up on your history. Canada was not self-governed at that point.
