"God can't just answer every prayer and suddenly give you everything you want. That takes all the living out of life. If God answered all our prayers, there'd be nothing left for us to do ourselves. Life is about problems, and overcoming those problems. And growing and learning from obstacles. If God just fixed everything for us, then there'd be no point in our existence."
I'm fine with Christians, but I have a lot more respect for the ones that take responsibility for themselves. I also think it a bit wiser to believe in a "hands-off" kind of God, as opposed to an interventionist.
just my opinion, btw

Many Africa Children are dead even before there is a chance for worldly intervention.

Infant mortality is one of the greatest plagues of Africa. Your excuse making is disrespectful to the continent and it's problems. There are congenital diseases of which human intervention can do nothing. Your postulations stand no ground at all when you see the congenitally ravaged victims of AIDS or Leukemia. If you wish to say this is the will of God, then you are sick. If you wish to say it isn't, then your God is heartless or incompetent. And if you wish to say he has given resources for us to fix it, then no. Even if we do find cures in the future, there are millions who have fallen at the hands of congenital disease.
