I normally create something that is highly contagious with minimal symptoms. Then when I have a sufficient amount of infections around the world I crank up the heat.

I don't know why America talks up Canada as the wonder of modern health care. Literally almost every developed nation has universal health care. You're not behind Canada, you're behind EVERYBODY. Since 2012, you're even behind Mexico.

Can any Canadians out there tell me just_ how_ good your healthcare is?

It's pretty decent. Easy access to vaccinations, prompt diagnosis, easy access to meds, etc. Walk in clinics and doctors right on my university campus. Stuff like that. The only thing that sucks is waiting times. It sometimes takes weeks to set up appointments with family doctors one-on-one. Ambulances are something stuck outside the hospitals for hours waiting to transfer their passengers in. My dad (who is a doctor originally from NJ) got diagnosed with a blocked valve in hist heart a few weeks ago, and they're doing the procedure to fix it in another week (given, it's not a major invasive surgery, but still). I'm not the best source since I haven't been very sick or in the hospital since I was 2 and have personally experienced waiting times at hospitals, but from friends and family accounts that's generally what it's like.

tl;dr- it's alright but a bit slow, eh

this is a videogame, called Plague Inc, where the objective is to make a disease spread as fast as possible, ultimately rendering the Earth devoid of life.
Canada is known for its free healthcare [nothing unheard of for europeans, but positively bizarre for americans], so OP is blaming it for the inability of his disease to spread there.

It is a game called plague inc where you have to infect the entire world with a disease and you can evolve it to make it more lethal, or spread faster or whatever. The countries covered in red are infected with the disease.

I just kept degrading the symptoms, and then when every area except the difficult ones were infected I started buying the spore bursts. I also upgraded cold resistance since Canada and Greenland tend to be the difficult areas. So aside from that, a lot of waiting.
