Wrong is always spelled wrong, but as long as it's spelled wrong it's not spelled incorrectly. If it was spelled incorrectly, it wouldn't be wrong.

I misspelled it as definetly when I was in second grade but learned it was similar to finite but with some extra letter before and after.

I know that but I see "He defiantly did." and **** like that all the time thanks to people spelling definitely wrong and then getting it spell checked to defiantly because it's closer to what they originally said.
