John Lennon was a complete ******* prick with no redeeming qualities. Imagine was just the pretentious crooning of a man who knew how to exploit hippies. The Beatles were not the best band ever, they weren't even the best of their time, they were just well-marketed. Like Justin Bieber or Jay Z

You just compared The Beatles to literally two of the worst 'artists' in the history of ever. The Beatles were responsible from breaking Americans away from the pastel, boring, stanky leg at 1/3 the speed ******** they liked back then.

The Beatles were all that and more than you can imagine. They were revolutionary. Things that you take for granted today, not just in music, but in pop culture, are here because the Beatles did them first. For example:

They were the first British pop act to achieve major ongoing success in the United States, scoring twenty #1 hits in the USA alone, becoming the biggest musical act of the twentieth century.

The Beatles were the first band to print lyrics on album covers.

They were the pioneers of the practice of using backstage passes. They were a necessity because of the mania.

Despite breaking up years before MTV, The Beatles were actually music video pioneers. As they grew tired of going from TV show to TV show promoting their latest hit single, The Beatles started sending in promotional clips instead of actually appearing in-person. The clip for "Strawberry Fields Forever" -- with its psychedelic style and lack of lip-synching to the song itself -- is often considered one of the first examples of a true music video.

The Beatles are also credited with bringing blue jeans into fashion. Initially, blue jeans were simply sturdy trousers worn by workers, especially in factories.

They are credited with kids growing their hair long, because the Beatles did it first.

The Beatles were also pioneers is in the concept of writing and recording their own music. Prior to them, the most popular pop singers drew their material from a pool of songwriters-oh and ripping off black artists by recording their songs and not compensating them. (Elvis' management was notorious for this)

forreal and fortroo, my brethren.
All that said, I ******* hate the band. Just stomping down your retardedness.

It's not like most artists are selfish, greedy pigs, or anything. They would never do 'good things' in the public eye to make them seem like nice people and then turn their noses up at everything else. Never. All artists are innocent and perfect and never ever ever never never ever ever never ever never never ever never ever do things that make them seem like the people they really are! Infallible, they are.
Here's some genocide, for the lulz. *Casts line elegantly and smoothly, meeting the water with a virtually seamless ripple*

there was this rabbit in the finish epic Kalevala that notifys the household of Aino of her suicide.

If anyone else wants to pitch in some rabbit mythology go ahead
