While I don't necessarily believe Minnesota is best America, we did once have this man as our governor during the turn of the century.

True but still, you don't really need a boat in Texas making it a little bit simpler to fish. Not implying that Minnesota needs boats just saying. If its easy to walk there you should probably take advantage of that and not pollute the world any more than it already is.

Notice noone actually shot back, they searched for threats found none and probably continued on their way. Had they found some ******** trying to go on a killing spree, he woulda been unidentifiable from a lead bar by the end.

Having a society armed means more security knowing that only the psychopaths will try to open fire, and they won't last long.

Indeed, but that guy won't have 20+ victims, hell have like 2 and be dead. The government screams that paranoia will run rampant, but people take **** like this and adapt to it making it the norm. Having a sidearm on you shouldn't be mandatory, but should be encouraged.

For people of a certain age. I don't condone giving highschoolers right to carry weapons at all times, though i do believe in teaching them how to use them and the responsibilities of them. Cause highschoolers are hormonally charged monsters.

I'm not sure people react fast enough for 2 victims to be the result. What if he walks into a crowd and just starts unloading on people? People will be confused and scared, and maybe won't know who to shoot.
According to 5 seconds of googling this The implication being that I don't know my ****, not that **** is easy to find the gun deaths total in Australia in 2004 was 234 whereas the homicides by handgun in America was ~8000.

That's a population density and and control issue, dont compare australia with its smaller population to something like america or china where some of the larger citys could make up most of australias population.

Actually right now Australia is a good comparison, because we stand in the same place they were 10 years ago...They had several mass shootings over a few years like what has been going on in America, but there politicians fought to ban certain guns, not all of them. Australia now hasn't had a mass shooting since this law has been passed. And by mass shooting according to their standard is more than 2 people dead or 5 injured. So we are now having politicians debate what to do with gun control laws here...In essence Australia is probably the best comparison someone could make.

That instates a problem from the degree of our training, not everyone is cut out for military, instead a more militia style training somewhere during the last two years of high school would be a good idea. Mandatory gun training, if not already completed by parents (legal document authenticating the education).
