I don't understand the problem. She herself isn't a communist. And if she was, so what? Everyone is entitled to their opinion. Not only that, but there is nothing to suggest her father was a communist in the first place. Things like this suggest that American culture hasn't significantly changed since the cold war. Also, she is an American because her parents where American. They where only in Iran as part of a project to help developing countries, so fuck you long and hard.
