Hey Everyone I always read on here about people bitching on how wall street banks and rich people are destroying America and it's all republicans fault.

A little know fact that after the depression intense regulation of the stock market was enacted to ensure another depression wouldn't occur in the future.

Well While Bill Clinton was in office the largest deregulation of the stock market was pushed through congress (republican at the time) and then signed by clinton.

The reason this legislation was signed and passed is because the Chairman of the Financial reserve has been a wall street banker.

Now you think this would have changed but no Bush selected Ben Bernanke a wall street banker pushing for even more deregulation one of the main proprietors of the Housing bubble along with many politicians on both sides.

When Obama was elected you think with all of his speeches and promises he would of chose a better chairman of the reserve someone responsible and deserving.

did he no he chose the same man Ben Bernanke and allows for even more deregulation of wall street and banks.

Just saying those who yell about republicans selling out to big business Obama has been called out kissing up to those large corporations he complains about. He has put the same people in power the republicans did Clinton helped with the deregulation of the stock market.

People need to realize that republicans and democrats both serve the people who run the big businesses and not the people anymore.

I think Ben Bernanke has got to know a thing or two about money. His first name is Ben, which is Latin for "good", and his last name has the word "bank" in it. So whenever I hear his name I subconsciously think "good bank" and then I like him. It's involuntary.

That might explain why both Bush and Obama appointed him...
