I personally think abortion is a terrible thing and I would never give consent in anyone doing it (unless in the case of the mother being in danger). If wife wanted to have an abortion for any reasons other than her life being at stake, I would not be okay with that.

But I still believe in the right to be free to have an abortion. I can't accept wanting to pass a law about something I will never understand as much as a woman will (birthing a child). I am personally opposed to it (especially in the third trimester) but if both the mother and legitimate father agree, then they should be able to get an abortion. Long story short, I'm fine with abortion laws as they are now,

Only ok if life of baby or mother is in danger. Other than that it should be illegal.

Only in the case of the the life of the mother. Rape/incest is horrible but the baby is not at fault in anyway and you cannot justify killing it. I'm not uber christian or anything, I'm just coming from a standpoint the the baby has rights as does the mother, and the property rights of the mother over her body do not extend to the baby because you cannot claim another person as property.

I was on the edge until I found out that state laws can grant the right to the woman to have an abortion and not be able to be prosecuted if she doesn't inform the father and goes on ahead with the abortion. That switched me over to pro-life. I understand it is her body, but not telling the husband about (potentially) killing his own child? That is giving to much right to the individual.

Mother's decision only.

What if the baby was born with a disease like tay-sachs? What about incest where the baby is mentally and physically deficient?

I'm not sure whether I'm pro-choice or pro-life, but what angers me is when Republicans say they're pro-life and then they prohibit teaching students about sex education and try to prevent people from using birth control.

Name some that are Republicans trying to prevent people from using birth control and how they are doing it.

Pro Choice kind of guy, but I think the matter of abortion should be handled more than just switching an OK switch on the matter

Like creating initiatives towards safe-sex in the education system that enforce concepts of doing so, especially now with the Health Care system allowing for free birth control (I'm not 100% savvy on the details of that, however.).

This would be heavily fortified with statistics and become an important component in sex-education.

..
Basically, I'm for Abortion, but should have a lot of backing to remove any fears of it being abused heavily, and letting people know that there are alternatives, but every alternative is heavily evaluated for 100% assurance.
