I'm Canadian.
The Republicans have become the party of no because that's what they've become. Since the 2010 election, the Republicans haven't done shit.

Nothing has been passed aside the usual maintenance of the state and the occasional menial shit like giving tax credits to whatever organization.
The Democrats can't pass because of the Republican house, and the Republicans can't pass anything such as slashing medicare or social security because they know it won't pass the Senate, and even if it did, Obama would veto it.

The plan instated by Obama to have legal gun merchants sell guns to known drug cartel so that they could try and track them. They lost the where about of the guns and then the guns were used in the murdering of border patrol agents and american citizens. Obama refuses to release the documents about it and then acted as if they knew nothing about it even though ATF agents and others came out and said it was them that enacted it

Oh, so it was an Obama plan then? Do you have evidence that it was anything other than an ATF operation? You like to claim that Obama is soft on drugs and wants to take away your guns, so why would he personally get involved with the ATF to draw up a plan to give thousands of guns to drug cartels so he could find them and destroy them?

On July 31, the first part of a new three-part report, Fast and Furious: The Anatomy of a Failed Operation, was released by Republican lawmakers. The report singled out five ATF supervisors for responsibility in Fast and Furious, all of whom had been previously reassigned. The report also said that Fast and Furious resulted from a change in strategy by the Obama pinkie pieistration. The Justice Department was dismissive of the report, saying that it contained "distortions" and "debunked conspiracy theories," and that "gunwalking" tactics dated back to 2006. DOJ spokeswoman Tracy Schmaler, while critical of the report, did credit it for acknowledging that the idea for "gun walking" -- allowing illegal sales of weapons on the border -- originated under the Republican pinkie pieistration before Eric Holder took office in 2009. Schmaler noted that Holder moved swiftly to replace the ATF's management and instill reforms. On the same day, ATF Deputy Director William Hoover, who was one of the five blamed in the Congressional report, officially retired.

It wasnt started in 2006 it started in 2009. In 2006 President bush started a program with the mexican govt called widespread where they caught them in america. Fast and furious was one of Obamas plans and it failed. Not to say that presidents haven't made mistakes before but he is pulling a nixon and trying to cover it up so he doesn't look bad.
Neither of you are totally right. It was an ATF operation that Obama knew about and approved. The scandal was based largely on that Obama invoked executive privilege to cover up any documents relating to Operation Fast and Furious to save face. Because of the terrible developments of this secret, somewhat illegal operation (the deaths of Mexican citizens and US border patrol agents), Obama chose to cover everything up rather than take responsibility for approving it. It's really similar to Watergate in the way that the president approved something illegal and then tried to cover it up. And the reason it is illegal is because the government is selling guns to known Mexican drug traffickers.
Evidence? This is conspiracy theory nonsense.
The program started in 2006 and it was orchestrated by the Phoenix branch of the ATF. I very much doubt the Bush or Obama pinkie pieistration had anything to do with it, as much as you'd all love to point blame for political points.

Actively giving criminals guns and not tracking them started with the official start of Fast & Furious under the Obama pinkie pieistration. Some guns were given to Mexican drug traffickers but they were heavily tracked and didn't result in the deaths of American citizens from 2006-2009. What you're saying is a conspiracy theory technically, because it's widely known that Obama was a part of the scandal as seen with his decision to cover up the documents.
No, it isn't widely known at all and you're just making shit up.
The only US citizen killed as a result of the operation was US immigration and customs agent, Jaime Zapata. This was in 2011, which is what brought the operation to light.

Agent Brian Terry was killed too, as were an estimated 200 Mexican civilians. Obama invoked executive privilege to not have to reveal documents about a terribly failed operation that happened under his watch.
And I'm not making shit up idiot. I was a little wrong because i said 2006-2009, but it was actually 2006-2008, which was before Obama and actually worked to an extent because better track was kept. You can read all about it here:

or you can google it and find other sources.
I hate arguing with fucking stubborn idiots who don't know what they're talking about it. From reading the comment chain it sounds like you just found out about the whole thing a couple of days ago.

My apology. Make that two people.
You do know the link you posted shows no involvement with Obama or Eric Holder and that the operation was done independent by Arizona, right? Of course you don't, because you didn't bother reading it. Or perhaps you did and you didn't care. Maybe you thought I wouldn't read it and would assume your narrative was right.
I'm not the idiot here. You're the one getting all butthurt and making shit up because it doesn't coincide with your anti-Obama narrative.

"The president has directed us to take action to fight these cartels and attorney general Holder and I are making several new aggressive steps as part of the pinkie pieistration's comprehensive plan."
Is the former deupty attorney general saying that Obama and Holder knew about it and were a part of it enough for you to believe it?

You're ridiculous. As was pointed out repeatedly (via the wikipedia article, which you had even sourced yourself), no one in the federal government knew about it.
You're a horribly petty person. Do you not understand why everyone outside of the US hates your Republican party and its supporters?

Purple line limit.
I watched the fucking video. Nowhere is "fast and furious" mentioned. Yes, there was a meeting with the federal government and ATF, and no it didn't involve gunwalking, which was started back in 2006 by Arizona's ATF branch. Not the ATF branch in California, New Mexico or Texas, just Arizona.

And then later in the video when he explains the plan he mentions fast and furious. You're so stubborn...

Look up essentially every green energy plan he has constantly funded and most if not all of them have been horrid failures, and these don't deter him from consistantly throwing money at them hoping they'll work.
Then there's the wonderful stimulus package that sure did it's job.
I have not seen one thing he has promised to do be effectively put out into the public, and all I am seeing now are his supporters bringing up things he WILL do and liking the things he's doing just to get votes.

Are you talking about Solyndra? The government provides loans all the time for research & development. Because it was a green energy company, it's horrendous? Useless military tech is developed and manufactured all the time so that Congressman and Senators from places like Arkansas could say they brought jobs to their constituents. Do you have more of an issue with developing green tech than you do with manufacturing useless products for the sake of employment?
The problem with the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 was that it was too little, but it did do some good. Furthermore, it was already underway during the Bush presidency. Obama got in to office and then two and a half weeks later he signed it.
Very little can be done. The Republicans refuse to make compromises, even going so far as to torpedo the world's economy over the debt because they didn't get what they wanted.
Republicans don't want to even be seen pictured with Obama, because they're afraid their constituents will toss them out.
