I believe in anarchy, don't get me wrong I'm not the direct action type unless the gov were to overstep it's bounds but every system with a controlling group EVER has been corrupted. Perhaps if one day people became intelligent enough to put aside their petty differences then maybe a functioning productive society could exist. Thoughts? -from an American

in theory anarchy works. the theory does not take human nature into account though. anarchy works only if the population is honest, and to be generally independent. unfortunately humans are not honest, and for the most part look for a leader to tell them what to do. if there is no government the world will will end up being ruled anyway, by gangs and power hungry people. (much like many countries in africa)
i don't think the current government works very well, but i don't see how anarchism will work. what do you think?

Well define "work" because our government is clearly screwed clear bribery and nobody willing to point it out and each side bickering at each other for no reason other than to appear t have a purpose. Anarchism would bring decentralization, not exploitable because no one is obligated to do anything. That is what is needed on a large scale because you're right no one would be behind traditional anarchy. This would be more extremist or lawless libertarianism. Not the best description but A society with no "leader" only decisions to be made by the populace and education to fit focusing a lot on morals due to the present impossibility of enforcing laws upon a large population such as our societies do now. Taking the laws out of the equation because they will be broken anyway and taking bureaucracy out of situations better suited to common sense.
