>People bitching about how healthcare is unconstitutional
>U.S Constitution is a 300 year old document
>The relevance of said document in modern society is nil

You either adapt or you die. That's nature, folks. Maybe if you could somehow AMEND it...

The idea that it can't be changed at all is fucking crazy. The Founding Fathers created Amendments because they knew that it might be a good idea to tweak it a little at some point.

the idea that it has no relevance is even crazier.

What I'm saying is that it has to be changed. Obviously some parts of it are going to be outdated, and that's what amendments are for? Besides, I over dramatize things for humorous purposes. I guess people can't tell sarcasm when they see it.

Universal health care works. But America clearly isn't ready for it because of their shitty mentality, and that's a shame for all of the people who want change and progress, even if obamacare is shit.

What needs to be changed and how in your mind?

Are you kidding me? The Constitution is the supreme law of the land. If it has no relevance to modern society then I guess individual liberty and rule of law are outdated ideas. Without the Constitution we have a lawless government. It will always lead to authoritarianism. Though it is sad today that not even the high court can stand in between the statist political elite and our liberty.

Fuck, I knew that was a flimsy argument (might have helped if I actually knew something about become a practicing doctor)

The Constitution is still relevant though. If the constitution is ignored then the government can make as many stupid decisions as it can. The government is a judicial monopoly, so without restraints it can do anything it wants.

However, some parts of it were meant to be set in stone.

Specifically the Bill of Rights.
