What if there was a political system with no parties e.g. no republican/democratic or labour/liberal parties. Instead have people represent their part of the country and vote for what they think is best? My thoughts are that they would end a whole lot of the bullshit that goes on outside of congress/parliament.

there is no way that would work, if it could it would be great but people would form groups of similar ideas and they would vote against anything they dont like witch would make them lose there place in office. people outside of an elected branch are to stupid to learn about someones ideas they want there pick to be easy so a party system makes it so they can just hate the other and vote for there own
