Technically you are correct, but only because of the Court ruling. Remember that interpretations of the Constitution vary, and the Supreme Court decides how it will be interpreted. Had John Roberts sided with his four conservative peers, you would be wrong and Obamacare would not be Constitutional.

I know this. But as President he should know (and he did know) better than to pass something against the Constitution. Just see my quote from him I posted where before he said he wouldn't make insurance forced on Americans. Would something that is truly Constitutional cause this much controversy?

Okay, I don't exactly agree with anon but your reasoning is kind of bullshit. One of the main functions of the Supreme Court, since Marbury v. Madison, is to decide whether laws are "truly" Constitutional. There is always controversy about constitutionality because obviously interpretations of the Constitution vary, but a Supreme Court decision is basically an informal Constitutional Amendment. It changes (and sets a precedent for) how the Constitution is interpreted. If the SCOTUS decided Obamacare is Constitutional, then it is. It may not fit with your interpretation of the Constitution, but it does fit with the majority's now-official interpretation.

Obama argued that his health care reform was Constitutional: he did not knowingly try to pass an unconstitutional act. The SCOTUS affirmed its constitutionality but cited a different reason than Obama (Congress' power to impose taxes).

When it comes down to fighting against the people's rights, then I believe it's always unconstitutional. We aren't a free country if we are forced to spend our money in a way that we don't choose. Our country was found on freedom, anything against it doesn't follow the original constitution of our country. People can have their own interpretations of it, but in reality it all means the same thing. Obama just wants this country flushed down the toilet, this "tax" is going to cost the country billions of dollars for welfare since the poor already can't afford food, now they're being forced to buy healthcare.
