Couldn't you argue that Left and Right wing are very similar to being authoritarian (Big government) and Libertarian (small government)? I think it should be "Social Freedoms" on one axis with the two extremes being liberal and conservative and then "economic freedom" with them being maybe small government and big government?

Regardless I am on the very bottom and I would say slightly to the left because I think some government policies/federal reserve powers are important but thing there should be NO Fiscal policy at all pretty much.

Right wing governments can really be authoritarian just as vice versa, there are models for both.
