What's the chance of getting a shiny by breeding in FR/LF? does it affect if one of the parents are or just 4gen +?

If you're breeding for shinies in a third gen game you'd be better off going into the wild because the odds are the same

Gen 4 and later is when Masuda method starts working. But yes, you can breed spam for shinies, but it's still a 1 in 8192 chance
