ancientchaos (06/28/2012) [-] I think, for the DS, it might be Diamond version. It might be due to nostalgia, but everything from the map layout, to the story seemed really cool to me. Soulsilver might be a good way to go, since its so expansive (with two regions). But then again, Black and white are the most recent, so if you plan on doing wifi stuff, that might be best. Its all about weighing what you value most

ipurplepika **User deleted account** (06/28/2012) [-] There's a lot of amazing games for the 3ds, and the Ds is at the end of it's life cycle, the games they make at this point are a bit narrow being mostly only pokemon, I say if you're willing to go the extra money and if you are a big nintendo fan, I say go for the 3ds right now (or wait until the 3dsXL) there's a lot of good games for the 3ds and a lot more coming, They have and are remaking a few classics from the N64 as-well if you need to know Game titles i would recommend that are out or coming out just ask.
