okay guys, i need help.
we all want the open-world Pokemon game to happen. some friends and i have a TON of ideas for it. all we're missing is someone with computer skills to get it off paper and onto a screen. is there anyone on here who can help us with that? you'll get credit and a share of the profits, of course

well the guy in charge of this venture said he actually wanted to learn how to do the programming himself, and the rest of us agreed to learn as well. obviously it would take several people but the fact that right now we have NO ONE with those skills is what's setting us back the most. i figure if we can find at least one person who knows what they're doing, then at least we can move forward in the process of the project. even if it's not enough to actually complete it, it would still be a step up from where we are.
indeed. i was discussing this factor with the other guys working on this idea. we decided to get as far as we can producing the game and then show it to Nintendo and/or Game Freak along with a request to sell it, and assuming they say no (which, let's be honest, is very likely) then we'll just change a few things and make it something other than Pokemon. that's how Super Mario Bros came to be. either that, or we won't sell it and we'll just distribute it for free, because there's nothing illegal about that.
