i wish warped tour lineups weren't just filled with ****** post-hardcore scene kid kellen quin/pierce the veil obsessing little girl bands nowadays. they used to have pretty legit bands play. not saying NONE of the ones that play now are good but a majority, almost all, are ****, in my opinion.
which is why I now attend Riot Fest every year instead.

Well honestly, what I like about Warped is that there's just so many ****** bands there that there's bound to be SOMETHING that you like (and yeah, you'll find some bands you don't like, but you just don't show up for their sets). There have been a few genuinely punk bands who've played in the past. Green Day for one played back in like 2000 before they became huge corporate mainstream sellouts, but yeah, there's not much true punk there anymore.

There's a band called Blood on the Dance Floor who are just the infamously terrible *********** throughout all of non mainstream music, and they got invited to play Warped in 2010, and ADTR was just one of a TON of bands who swore after 2010 that they'd NEVER play Warped again if BOTDF got invited again, and they got re-invited and played in 2011. Most people think Asking Alexandria and Sirens when they think of metalcore and post-hardcore, but the bands that don't have a scene crowd go hard as ****. I still like AA and old SWS, but damn Northlane is my love.

Just gonna throw in my 2 cents here, and say if you like AA, you should check out Bring Me The Horizon. They're really similar, both British metalcore, the only difference is where AA mixes some electronic elements into their music, BMTH mixes electronic and some kinds of cult-ish sounds into theirs (I don't really know how else to describe it, but "cult-ish" seems to carry a bad connotation....there's some word out there to describe it better, I just can't think of it)

I don't care for them, they're a little too "party metal" (for lack of better term) for my tastes. I don't dislike them, though. I could probably jam to them depending on my mood.

Yeah. Fronz's vocal range is pretty crazy too. He's really talented, and I respect them as a band. I just like feelier stuff.

Yeah. I think Beartooth started around my area too. The main reason I heard of them was because Caleb Shomo is the vocalist though. Love 'em or hate 'em, I think Caleb Shomo is a ******* beast of a vocalist.
