Some things I'd like to point out.

If you ask for fresh fries, only the really, really nice guys will make a new batch for you, and only on slow days. Fast food is just that, fast. They go for speed more than quality. If you ask for unsalted fries, most of the time they will throw a salted batch back into the fryer just to get the salt off. Your fries won't be fresh, just overcooked and even greasier than usual.

Many of these computer "shortcuts" (like ctrl+backspace) are actually more troublesome than the usual way of doing it.

And also, with ANY book to movie adaptations, one will inevitably ruin the other for you. I had this problem with trying to read the Lord of the Rings books, because my mind wouldn't draw the pictures with my imagination, it would just be recalling or slightly altering scenes from the movies. If you watch the movie first, the book's plot will be predictable and almost seem to have "filler" content that isn't pertinent to the story. If you read the book first, the movie will be way too short, and you'll be cross at the inaccuracies and everything they cut out. Just choose whichever one you're more likely to enjoy, because as a result, the other option won't be enjoyed nearly as much.

The rest of this is sound advice though.

i was in vegas and i found a wallet. i turned it over to the craps table dealer. when i told people this story their response was "did you wait for a reward?" or " did the owner give you money?" when i said i didnt want any and didnt even give the owner a chance people looked at me stupid. i did a nice thing i just wanted to be nice.

Just a note on the "fresh fries" one... if you want fresh fries.... ask for fresh fries. That are just as legally bound to give you fresh fries as they are to give you unsalted ones. The differences are that you dont get nasty, saltless fries, and it is a helluva lot easier to just make new fries then it is to keep them out of the salt. Now the cooks wont hate you for trying to be clever.

i've worked at McDonalds for about 2 years and i can say this is not true, we are in no way legally obligated to make a new batch of fries...a timer goes off after five minutes to tell you the fries are no longer fresh...and five minutes is a long time in fast food world...however if you order unsalted fries we have to drop a new batch of fries....which takes 3:20 minutes at most mcdonalds...this is for allergy purposes...ive seen (and even advised) people to do this... also fries tend to get old and nasty after being left out for about five minutes....hence the timer...unsalted is definitly the way to go...and you can always ask for salt packets at the counter

Does wanting to see someones smile count as valid reasoning to be a good guy?

No, women do not understand eachother.
Try asking her, without the ********************** approach, genuinely what is wrong and if there is anything you can do to help. If not, then just stear well clear (that does not mean go play video games, I means take a walk for half an hour while she calms down).

Yes, it's your house, too, and you have the right to be there. Perhaps she gets irrate now and then, and perhaps aims it at you when she shouldn't. But there point remains that something is bothering her, and 99/100 it is not her period. A period is something she knows how to cope with.

Honestly, I never get tired of people telling me I'm tall because I think it's an attractive trait.

Would you get annoyed if people kept telling you that you had nice hair?
