I used pepsi max a few times before with no reaction what so ever, so I'm rather confused by how many thumbs this got

However Venus fly traps can't handle fat, which is why they eat bugs.

Frogs have fat (obviously), so now the plant will die too.

PEPSI MAX INDEED

I'm no expert, but isn't it really bad for the venus flytrap if part of whatever they're eating is sticking out of the plant?

as a herbalist The venus fly trip is essentially one of the many kinds of "trap" plants whose goal is to trap prey within a certain area so they can decompose and release nutrients within the area.

While a part of the creature is sticking out of the plant in this instance, enough of it is within the lobes of the plant.
