You just might be better off asking medical professionals.

You'd be better off with a go-pro and a mirror.

Need medical advice, I must ask strangers on the internet who are most likely not doctors.

I have the same thing with my left eye, it runs in my family, the last time I went to a doctor about it (about 8 years ago) there was nothing that could be done for it.

If the eye has been blind since birth I'm pretty sure transplanting an eye won't give it sight since the optic nerve is pretty much useless after years of no stimulation. My dad has a similar issue and our doctor said nothing could be done for him. I would ask your doctor just to be 100% sure though.
